MENTSH UNITED feat. SHANTEL stands for powerful rhythms, electronic club aesthetics and musical influences from South-Eastern Europe, the Mediterranean and the Middle East. Thirteen musicians from France, Germany, Greece, Israel and Italy share a single vision: to celebrate diversity and take a stand, driven by deep bass lines and irresistible rhythms.

The unmistakable soundtrack of MENTSH UNITED is created by SHANTEL, known among other things for his “Shantel & Bucovina Club Soundsystem”. With his creative approach to cultural fusion, Shantel has become the sonic face of a different Germany in the world — the first to infuse German pop culture with a cosmopolitan sound. With him, migration becomes something that can be heard and danced to.

Shantel’s method is one of cultural mixing and sampling: extracting elements from their original context and transferring them into a new one. Club culture becomes a constantly evolving concept.

The Europe-based group brings to the stage a sound that speaks loud and clear: Europe is colourful, democratic and united against hatred. Against antisemitism. Against prejudice. For solidarity and unity.
